3 out of 5 stars golf courses of the carribean   February 15, 2007
for the listed courses, the information is pretty complete

title is misleading because not all carribean courses were listed
no information on st thomas or st croix to name two islands

5 out of 5 stars Golfing in Paradise is Heaven on Earth   May 7, 2004
I picked up the book for my husband who plays golf. I left it on the coffee table and everyone who walks into the room ends up paging through it. Guess what! We just got back from the Caribbean and the golfing there is everything the author said it was. What an inspiration this book is. All the pictures make you feel as though you're already there. Very easy to read and a perfect memento of the trip.

I had always been curious about golf courses in the Caribbean islands. This book does an outstanding job of bringing the wide array of scenic and challenging courses to life. What impressed me most was that the author played each course personally. His detailed notes about each hole paint a clear picture of what it's like. Plus, the book is full of beautiful color photographs that give a real feel for the islands, the terrain and its tropical ambiance. Bird's eye view illustrations show the layout of each golf course, and most appear to be very creative and interesting. Contact information is included with each course description, as well as details about greens fees, club rentals, how to get there and where to stay.
This book is an inspiration to take a golfing vacation in the Caribbean! A nice long one.
