| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description With a reputation as one of the most bizarre annual races in the world, the Gumball Rally consists mostly of glamorous high-end sports cars like Lamborghinis and Ferraris. This time, however, they were joined by one sturdy and reliable Volvo estate. With stars such as the original Cannonballer himself Burt Reynolds, Adrien Brody, 50 Cent and the guys from Jackass all taking part, the thrills and spills were guaranteed. A fast-paced, hilarious record of what it's like to get lost in the African desert, party with kings, princes and French DJs and pass a Ferrari at 150mph!

| Customer Reviews: A fun romp through France, Spain, & Morocco October 23, 2005 Rodolphe Boulanger (New York, NY USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I picked up this book because I am a big fan of cars and had my interest in the Gumball piqued by an article in Vanity Fair magazine.
A very quick an enjoyable read that tells the tail of a journalist and retired jockey's escapades (both on the road and in the pub) during the amazing Paris to Marakech to Cannes Gumball 2004.
However, the book has a lot of British humor and the author is a bit self-absorbed (what kind of journalist would spend so much time writing about himself and his Irish buddies when there are so many other more interesting people around?).
Clement Wilson's wit and the intoxicating mix of fast cars and fast living still make this a worthwhile read. A cannonball run for the 21st century.
