Product Description
Visit the top 25 golf venues in Wisconsin with the help of this portable guidebook, enabling golfers to experience the best courses in the state. From the PGA Tour's venerable Brown Deer course in Milwaukee to Whistling Straits, another major course located north of Sheboygan, this reference explains where to locate Wisconsin's best golf courses without the usual sky-high prices found elsewhere. Along with the affordable prices, golfers can enjoy the spectacular scenery surrounding the courses from Lake Superior's Apostle Islands, the Mississippi River bluffs, the Northwoods, and Lake Michigan lapping the eastern shore of Wisconsin. Each of the 25 best courses is featured on a four-page layout with vital course information, a photo, and a graphic of the hole. An added feature includes pages filled with interesting tidbits and histories of 50 other top golf venues in the state, many of which include photos.

Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Golf Wisconsin: The Official Guide to the State's Top 25 Public Courses   January 13, 2008
The book wasn't much for what you got for you money, and I think that they didn't put much information about the courses in the book. They left off the list some of the better courses, or just put them in as a after thought. This book is a start for someone who hasn't golfed Wisconsin, and is planning a trip here, it will help some what.
