Too small...not great on details August 2, 2008 I thought the map would be much bigger. We need the details of the roads for our travels and this map is not going to cut it.
Very detailed July 13, 2008 I needed a map to get around the state - every road and town showed, so it was a little difficult to read, especially as it was in Spanish.
Probably an overkill for the average tourist.

Oaxaca State Map
I agree with Mr. Gordon's observation. But I'd still give it 4 stars - likely because I'm not as adventurous as he. In general, Guia Roji maps are indispensible and are the most up-to-date of any maps of Mexico I've ever found. It's true that they miss some roads, especially one of Sonora that caused me to become lost. No problem, really - the drive was especially beautiful, and at the nearest crossroads town, I received the customary, friendly help (which resulted in a little bit of a debate among the direction-givers). But I have found the city maps to be far more accurate and especially helpful when wending one's way through the big metropolitan areas.
just OK August 17, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This map is just OK.
Though it had a date of 2006, it didn't have the newish, paved road between Santa Maria de Hualtulco and Pluma Hidalgo!
It left out other roads in the mountains, at least one of which was quite trafficked.
The map simply needs to be larger. It's only about 1/2 the size of the Guia Roji Oaxaca City map.
I'd look for another map next time.
